Returns and right of withdrawal Devolução e direito de arrependimento

Purchases at a distance in Brazil. When a work is bought without the buyer being present — through the website or over WhatsApp — the buyer may withdraw from the purchase within 7 days of receiving the work, as set out in article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defence Code (Law 8,078/1990).

How to withdraw. Write to the studio on the same WhatsApp used for the purchase within those 7 days. The studio replies with the return steps for that specific work.

What travels back with the work. The documents that came with it: the signed Certificate of Authenticity, the fiscal invoice or receipt and the Artwork Acquisition Agreement.

Purchases from outside Brazil. International buyers may return a work within 14 days of delivery. The work must come back in its original condition, in the original packaging, with its documents. Return shipping, transit insurance and any customs costs of the return are paid by the buyer; the original shipping cost is not refunded. The price of the work is refunded once it is back at the studio and its condition has been checked. To start a return, write to the studio on the same WhatsApp used for the purchase.

Damage in transit. If a work arrives damaged, tell the studio within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the work and of the packaging. The studio handles the claim with the carrier and, when it was contracted, the insurer.

Compra à distância no Brasil. Quando a obra é comprada sem a presença do comprador — pelo site ou pelo WhatsApp —, é possível desistir da compra em até 7 dias contados do recebimento da obra, como prevê o artigo 49 do Código de Defesa do Consumidor (Lei 8.078/1990).

Como desistir. Escreva para o estúdio no mesmo WhatsApp da compra, dentro desses 7 dias. O estúdio responde com os passos da devolução daquela obra.

O que volta junto com a obra. Os documentos que vieram com ela: o Certificado de Autenticidade assinado, a nota fiscal ou recibo e o Termo de Aquisição.

Compra feita de fora do Brasil. O comprador internacional pode devolver a obra em até 14 dias contados da entrega. A obra precisa voltar no estado original, na embalagem original e com os documentos. O frete de volta, o seguro do transporte e eventuais custos alfandegários da devolução são pagos pelo comprador; o frete da ida não é reembolsado. O valor da obra é devolvido quando ela chega ao estúdio e o estado é conferido. Para iniciar, escreva para o estúdio no mesmo WhatsApp da compra.

Avaria no transporte. Se a obra chegar avariada, avise o estúdio em até 48 horas da entrega, com fotos da obra e da embalagem. O estúdio cuida da reclamação com a transportadora e, quando contratado, com a seguradora.
